Anasazi Artifacts and Art
One of the many neat things about this area is that the ruins still had artifacts left laying around. I guess people are pretty good about not taking stuff. We saw lots of pottery remnants and cool art.
The Anasazi were known for this type of "hand art". We saw a lot of it.
They grew corn and there were still corncobs and husks laying around. The corn was little, not like modern "improved" corn.
Neat painting.
This is a grinding area where I'm guessing the Anasazi would grind the corn into corn meal.
Various pottery fragments, arrowheads, corn-cob, bone fragment.
