Day Six
We were getting a little tired at this point; legs were creaking a bit, so we decided on the South Fork of Mule Canyon since the ruins per mile factor was pretty high. Again, very few people. We had the whole canyon to ourselves until we were on our way back to the truck and saw one other couple about a mile from the trailhead.
Mileage for the day: 6 miles.
Kira in front of a typical ruin.
This ruin was inaccessible and in good shape (probably related). Note the stairs on the right side.
I had to climb a little tree ladder to get to this one. Notice the five or six layers of logs supporting the roof of this room. I hadn't seen this before.
Typical pool. We must have seen hundreds of scenes like this over the 4 days of hiking.
When we got back to the truck we headed home. Thanks for visiting!
