The only male lion we saw. What a beautiful animal. Lions are in another league as far as I'm concerned; they are so majestic and royal.


Same lion sauntering over to us.


This is large kudu. Note the large, spiral antlers.


If you look closely you can see a lion crouched in the grass right above the eland. We waited about 20 minutes hoping to see an attack but it didn't happen. Lions eat about every 3 days.


The wildlife would congregate around waterholes. In this one picture you can see a giraffe, zebras, eland, and warthogs.
